2021 ARDC Digital Research Skills Summit

Exciting news!

The 2021 ARDC Digital Research Skills Summit (Skills Summit) is being facilitated by the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) in partnership with members of Australia’s skills community and the Australasian eResearch Organisation (AeRO).

The Skills Summit brings together the digital research skills community to share best-practice and guide strategy, providing a forum for the skills community to network, exchange knowledge, uplift skills, share new initiatives, celebrate success and tackle common challenges. This in turn, translates to greater levels of knowledge transfer and the ability to apply new skills to benefit research outcomes.

Session highlights:

  • Identification and prioritisation of emerging skills challenges and opportunities
  • Lightning talks showcase recent happenings in skills and training across the digital research sector.
  • Celebration of skills impact and strategy.

The Skills Summit will run on Wednesday, 13 October 2021 as an integrated stream within the eResearch Australasia 2021 Conference (eRA).

The Skills Summit is designed for trainers, training program managers, researchers who train, organisation directors, policy makers, and anyone involved in digital infrastructure training programs.
