2021 Call for Workshops

Invitation to Submit


Whilst the call for workshops has closed, if you have missed the deadline and would like to submit a workshop please  do so via the submission portal.

The portal will remain open until Friday 17 September.

It is anticipated workshops will take place the week of 18 – 22 October, immediately following the main conference week (11 – 15 October).

Information for Workshop Hosts

  • Duration: In keeping with general timings for the main eResearch Australasia Conference program, workshops will be limited to 4 hours in duration.
  • Fees: The conference charges attendees a registration fee of $50 per workshop that is not included in the conference registration fee. This is necessary to cover organisation costs for the workshops.
  • Fee Subsidy: If you would prefer your attendees to pay a reduced cost to attend your workshop you are welcome to subsidise their attendance; this can be arranged with the conference managers.
  • Technology and Workshop Delivery: Workshops will be delivered using Zoom meetings.

Preparing your Submission

Please enter your submission via the above portal.

When entering your submission, you will need to advise the following information.

  • Workshop title
  • The name and affiliation of the primary workshop convener
  • A brief description of the workshop – up to 250 words
  • Any constraints on the number of attendees
  • The types of people who will benefit from attending the workshop
  • Any particular skills or knowledge attendees should have
  • The need for attendees to install any special software to participate in the workshop
  • Any preparation needed by attendees for the workshop
