DESCRIPTION:Mrs Helen Woodman1, Dr Shirin (Maryam) Jamarani2\n1The University of Queensland, St Lucia, Australia\n2The University of Queensland, St Lucia\nThe Research Management Business Transformation (RMBT) Program at the University of Queensland, championed by the DVCR&I, was established in 2016 to progressively transform the way research support and administration is delivered. This exciting Program encompasses a range of targeted projects aimed to provide integrated, digital research management capability for researchers, research administrators and research managers, by bringing together technology and innovation while supporting the people side of change.\nWe start by defining the role of the program and introducing the core team, thereby demonstrating its value in the delivery of the projects especially in building relationships of trust which are imperative to successfully managing/mitigating the impacts of change.  We will then elaborate on how these different roles are understood by research business areas- the recipients of the new systems and processes from RMBT.\nWe share examples of how at times there has been confusion for stakeholders and end-users in separating the specific projects (their associated teams of business analysts and technical people) and the Program Team, resulting in crossed-wires in communication and incorrect assigning of tasks and responsibilities.\nWe will present an analogy of establishing a garden to describe each of the roles within the RMBT program supporting the successful end-to-end delivery of new projects, and ensuring the Community is well-prepared for the new digital solution. This analogy clearly shows the inter-relationships of all players within the RMBT Program and demonstrates at which point in the journey of delivering the new system/process the different team members will be involved.\n\nBiography:\nBio to come\n
