SUMMARY:Canada’s eResearch Journey
DESCRIPTION:Canada looks to Australia as a model for how to “get it right” when it comes to supporting the research community with sustainable and innovative digital research infrastructure (DRI). Like Australia, Canada has had a substantial history of support for DRI, but Canada’s profile from a national perspective has been more disjointed, and a cohesive vision has emerged only recently. This session will describe recent efforts in Canada, culminating in the creation of a new national DRI organization called the Digital Research Alliance of Canada (the Alliance).\n
