Abstract:

New technologies continue to open up possibilities for information flow between research systems. This provides an opportunity to support researchers in data management planning with online tools, to rapidly circumnavigate the complexities of their research journey whilst supporting university administrative requirements.

This "collaborative cafe" will include a short presentation highlighting insights and activities shaping the development of our institutions' online Data Management Planning tools and services.

We will then facilitate an open discussion to draw input from the audience regarding their experiences. Together, we will explore possible issues and opportunities for alignment and collaboration of developments, connections and best practices, such as: integration workflows (e.g., grant systems, ethics and storage), templates, archiving processes, persistent identifiers and reporting.

This session is aimed at those providing research infrastructure services and support in data management planning across the research sector, including researchers, research data stewards, research support staff, institutional administrators, enterprise architects, eResearch directors, and academic engagement or research librarians.
