Infrastructure support staff face challenges every single day while supporting cutting-edge research. Researchers approach us asking for high powered GPUs and terabytes of storage, before we even know what they want to do with the hardware!

We are faced with the struggle of migrating their bespoke workflows, while keeping them up and running in the meantime, ensuring research isn’t delayed so papers can be submitted on time.

In this session we’ll share some of the challenges we’ve overcome in pursuit of enabling research, and the best practices we have discovered along the way. We’ll then open up the floor to hear audience stories and solutions!
