Precision medicine entails tailoring a drug to a patient’s exact needs based on their unique traits. AI is geared to bring precision medicine by assisting in the personalisation of diagnosis and treatment, thanks to the advancement of computational models and high-performance computing.
In this session, we would like to discuss how AI can help realise the precision medicine along with the challenges and opportunities.
Biography:
Sonika Tyagi is a Machine Learning Lead and Adj. Senior Lecturer at Monash Central Clinical School. Her team utilizes cutting-edge AI and genomics technologies with significant outcomes for the academic and clinical communities to discover new treatments and improve healthcare. Her approach employs machine learning methods to automatically learn complex features from individual data types, and harmonize heterogeneous multimodal information.
Aruna Kolluru is passionate about business, technology, and emerging technologies. She helps organizations visualize the art of possible, architect, and build solutions with emerging technologies. Before joining EMC & Dell Technologies, Aruna held various senior roles for IBM & Oracle. She has over 21 years of experience in the industry on varying technologies including AI, Blockchain, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, IOT Big Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Architecture.
David Siroky has been with Dell Technologies in a variety of leadership roles across the Asia Pacific region for 10 years. David leads a team of Data Analytics, AI & HPC solution architects & data scientists focused on helping organizations accelerate their research and bring it to market. David offers insights, sharing and experience from working with customers from Australia, through Singapore, South Asia & India.
Prior to working at Dell Technologies, David worked for Microsoft for 15 years, based in Redmond, Washington, on multiple business including Office 365, Microsoft Azure and Windows. David holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and business, with experience working with software development teams, application architecture, IT infrastructure and multiple software languages.
David is a proud father of a 15-year-old girl, an avid reader, fitness enthusiast, skier and passionate about diversity & STEM.
