As modern research becomes more data intensive, the research community faces the challenge of moving large volumes of data in an efficient, secure and reliable way as part of their research data management practice.

The answer: Globus.

Globus provides a high-speed file transfer system that enables researchers to securely move large volumes of data to other Globus-connected sites across the world.

Globus provides a standardised, fast and simple way to lower the barriers when moving large and complex data.

With an AARNet Globus subscription research institutions and facilities have the capacity for UNLIMITED use and deployments.

Through the role out of Globus as a national service AARNet is advancing data-intensive research in Australia.
