AutoML(Automated Machine Learning) is a transformative technology that streamlines the process of developing machine learning models, making it accessible to a broader audience, including those with limited data science expertise. It leverages automation, optimization, and artificial intelligence to automate various stages of the data science pipeline, from data pre-processing and feature selection to model selection and hyperparameter tuning. In particular, AutoML lowers the technical barriers to developing machine learning models and abstracts much of the technical complexity, allowing SMEs with deep domain knowledge but limited data science expertise to quickly get started and achieve meaningful results without extensive training in data science. It also automates tedious tasks such as data pre-processing, data lifecycle management, security, compliance and more. This approach enables data scientists to focus on high-level tasks and as a result accelerates the model development process, saving valuable time and resources.
