Amazon Web Services
Research is an innovation practice – with researchers needing access to tools that enable rapid experimentation. Amazon Web Services (AWS) works with higher education institutions, research labs, and researchers around the world to offer cost-effective, scalable, and secure compute, storage, and database capabilities to accelerate time to science.
With AWS, researchers can quickly analyze massive data pipelines, store petabytes of data, and advance research using transformative technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and quantum – all while securely sharing their results with collaborators around the world. AWS also provides researchers with access to open datasets, funding, and training to accelerate the pace of innovation.
Eratos
Decision-makers need on-demand, easy access to powerful AI models to solve the world’s hardest problems. Data scientists and researchers need easy access to large data sets to build their AI models, and they need a streamlined platform to share those models with decision-makers. Public and private institutions want to share their large cloud and on-premises data sets with data scientists to deliver the maximum value from their sensors, satellites, and drones.
Eratos democratizes AI for decision-making, reporting, and compliance by federating and semantically linking public and private data sets, providing data scientists with a platform to build and easily share models based on those data sets, and giving decision-makers AI-as-Service access to models to solve problems on demand. Eratos puts these powerful tools for climate, biodiversity, education, public safety, and more at the fingertips of those who need them, making Open Science a reality.
