Prof. Liz Sonenberg
Professor Liz Sonenberg is a researcher in artificial intelligence, an experienced university leader, and board director. She was the recipient of the Distinguished Research Contribution in the 2020 Australasian AI Awards and is currently a member of the international Standing Committee of the One Hundred Year Study on Artificial Intelligence (AI100). Liz has held advisory board roles in several national digital research infrastructure initiatives, is the inaugural Chair of the National Research Infrastructure Advisory Group and is a member of the National Digital Research Infrastructure Working Group developing the Investment Plan for the NDRI Strategy.
