Abstract:
In this talk we will present the work of the Research Data Experience program at UNSW. This is a major multi-year program to deliver a peta-scale, scalable, resilient, fit-for-researcher research data storage platform; data tools incorporating provisioning, integration, data management, reporting, costing and operational intelligence; a trusted research environment for collaboration on highly sensitive data; and package of change activities, policies, processes, funding and operating models.
In this talk, we’ll talk about what the program is deliverable but also how it is being delivered, and the lessons we’ve learned in almost two years that the program has been running. Finally we’ll highlight some of the work in the coming year.
