In 2020, DeepMind released a deep learning AI/ML system which predicts protein folding. It’s called AlphaFold. Google has created a fully managed solution to operationalise running Alphafold at scale. It allows researchers to input an amino acid sequence and output the 3D structure of the protein, in hours rather than days . It completely changes the game of biochemistry research and we will show how you can use it on GCP today.
