Through the delivery of world leading and integrated research infrastructure, Australia’s Digital Data and eResearch Platforms (DDeRP) help the Australian research community amplify their impact and produce globally competitive, data driven research to address today’s challenges and create a better future. The DDeRP group includes: Australian Access Federation (AAF); Australia’s Academic and Research Network (AARNet); Australian Data Research Commons (ARDC); National Computational Infrastructure (NCI); and the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre.

In 2020, the leaders of these organisations came together to form the DDeRP Executive Group. The group meets on a quarterly basis as an effective national digital research forum focusing on strategic alignment, joint initiatives to drive coordination across the sector and advocacy for system-wide improvements. The group is guided by the following principles: excellence, innovation, collaboration, equity and sustainability. By driving coordination and collaboration across the digital research infrastructure ecosystem, the group ensures Australian researchers are best supported to produce high quality, impactful research.

The session will outline DDeRP’s collaborative activities since our last session at eRA 2021, as well as the group’s evolving vision for the future of Australia’s digital research infrastructure ecosystem.
