Gin Tan
Associate Director of Monash eResearch
Gin Tan is the Associate Director of Monash eResearch, where she leads the delivery of advanced research computing platforms and services. Over her ten-year tenure at Monash University, she has progressed from hands-on high-performance computing (HPC) engineering, including deploying a new HPC cluster, into strategic leadership. Gin excels at translating complex technical requirements into practical infrastructure solutions, chairing several technical committees, and bridging the gap between technical infrastructure and research excellence. Most recently, she played a key role in Project MAVERIC, co-developing its business case and roadmap, and now serves as Principal Enablement Lead to align platform execution with the University’s broader research goals.
