Data Strategies in AI: The VAST Data Revolution

Subramanian Kartik1

Vice President of Systems Engineering, VAST Data

Modern workloads driving innovation in every sector are pushing the frontier of AI with state-of-the-art techniques in Machine and Deep Learning at scale. Groundbreaking techniques in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and large scale Structured Data Analytics are just a few examples of transformative architectures in high-end computing.  The high-performance IO necessary for time to value, characterized by heavy random read patterns, lends itself naturally to solid state storage systems. With namespaces in the 10’s to 100’s of PBs, users no longer need to compromise on performance, scale or ease of management – all with low All-Flash cost. Learn how VASTs revolutionary Disaggregated Shared Everything (DASE) architecture lets our customers accomplish all this at affordable prices. Hear about how customers in different industry sectors are changing their industries with in-memory and GPU-driven innovation with linear scale and 100% online operations, all with the ease of simple industry standard protocols and a full-featured enterprise platform.

Subramanian Kartik has been the Vice President of Systems Engineering at VAST Data since January of 2020, running the global presales organization.
