Abstract:

Deploying and operating HPC clusters in the cloud has never been easier, with many of the larger cloud providers supplying cluster automation tools aimed at simplifying the creation and management of clusters. We will review the tools provided by some of the larger cloud providers, focusing on how the clusters built in these cloud environments can be customised to suite specific user requirements, and how the cloud provided tools can enable users to deploy tailor made, ready to go clusters on demand.
