Abstract:
This poster explores the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) tools within the Nectar Research Cloud operations environment to enhance support, monitoring and development capabilities to enhance productivity. Various GenAI tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Otter.ai, have been tested over the past year, revealing significant benefits in document preparation, ideation, and task automation. Key advantages include rapid document refinement, efficient brainstorming, intelligent search capabilities, and automated meeting minute generation.
The poster highlights the transformative impact of GenAI on DevOps practices, showcasing how AI assistants can seamlessly integrate into workflows, enhancing code generation, review processes, and technology learning. It also discusses the benefits of running AI models locally, emphasising privacy, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
